Three of the best! The Triple Whammy is an adrenaline fueled day. First off it's the 500ft Indoor Zip Wire which is 6 stories high and during which you will reach speeds of around 30mph. Next up its Abseiling, your professional instructor will instruct you how to descend and then it's down to you to abseil from 150ft down the face of steel and into the dark and gloomy Abyss. Last but definitely not least is the 150ft Parachute Descender, you will have sensory overload as you plummet to the ground before landing safely on Terafirma. Top Day. Upon arrival at the centre you will be required to complete a membership form. You will then get into your harness that you will wear for the day. It is now time to walk the long and winding walkway into the rafters to the 500ft Zip Wire, the jumpmaster will attach you and you will travel at approx 30mph before safely entering the landing zone. You will then, after instruction, abseil from 150ft down the face of steel. Next up is the climb of 143 steps to the top of the parachute descender where you will be safely attached before plummeting to the ground. There will be a personalised video / dvd and merchandise available for you to buy to remember your experience with. Duration : You should allow around an hour from arrival for your complete experience. What to Wear / Equipment : Dress in comfortable, casual clothes. Skirts are not recommended (think about it). Locations : Sheffield, South Yorkshire Group Size / Spectators : You are welcome to bring spectators to watch you jump. Weather : Extreme weather conditions may affect this experience. If in doubt, please call the centre to check before setting off. Availability : Limited availability during the summer months only, please contact us for dates. Restrictions : Minimum age is 14. Under 16s need a parent/guardian's signature. Over 50s will need a doctor's certificate to jump. You must be in good health and you must make the centre aware of any medical conditions that you think may affect you being able to jump. Glasses and contact lenses MUST be removed prior to your jump. You can not bungee jump if you have any of the following: high blood pressure, heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma, neurological condition and diabetes.
